Three years after building our first 'dream home' in the wrong location, we are doing it all over again but this time up in the Perth hills.
We committed to buying our block of land after falling in love with the area 12 months prior. We didn't want to rush into making a decision (like we did last time) so we did as much research as possible and spoke to people we knew in the area before signing.
Now that the land is ours, we visit at least once a week even though we are a long way off from starting construction. The kids love to play at the park and we often have a picnic in the undercover BBQ area.
For the past few weeks we have been going back and forth with changes to the house plans of "Bletchley Park" by Plunkett Homes. The rep has been great so far, no complaints at all. We plan to sign up soon, just want to nut out all the changes first to get a fairly accurate indication of the final price to build the home. We are very excited about our building new home but a little apprehensive about the length of time it will take to build and the number of hoops we will be required to jump through. We are certain that all the ups and downs will definitely be worth it in the end!
